A group of volunteers from Grace Avenue Bible Church spent two weeks serving in India from December 28, 2017 to January 13, 2018. The team visited Chillakallu India, a small rural village about 200 km East of Hyderabad. This is an impoverished region, marked primarily by small tenant farms, although some industry exists in the area.
The primary mission purpose was to serve at a Children’s Home, or orphanage, ministering to children who have either lost their parents, or have been abandoned by their parents because they could not afford to support them. They were also able to help with the construction of a new school for the orphaned and poor and participate in village outreaches.
Italy 2018
A team from various states in the US traveled to Italy for a week to welcome the 2018 New Year with recent immigrant youth from various regions of the country. The team met with local leaders and youth from various Italian cities and came together to provide spiritual and emotional support, especially for those going through tough times as immigrants in a new country, many facing personal, financial and family crises.
